“Building that periodically spawns Barbarians to fight the enemy. Time to make the Barbarians!”
The Barbarian Hut is a Rare card that is unlocked from the Jungle Arena (Arena 9). It spawns a building with high hitpoints. Every 13.5 seconds, the Barbarian Hut will passively summon a group of three Barbarians, with a 0.5 seconds delay from each other. When defeated, it will also spawn 1 Barbarian. It appears as a wooden hut with a team-colored roof and a sword hoisted above the entrance, along with a keg of Elixir for decoration beside it. A Barbarian Hut card costs 6 Elixir to deploy.

- The continual spawning of the Barbarians from the Barbarian Hut in affiliation with Tombstones, Furnaces, and Goblin Huts can destroy an opposing Crown Tower if they are overlooked by the opponent. Placing down many huts like this is known as the Spawner strategy and can overwhelm opponents at all levels though some opponents can defend this strategy easily sometimes using Poison or Fireball.
- The Barbarian Hut can be used defensively and deployed in front of the player's Crown Tower in order to protect it, do be careful, Your opponent may use spells for some value on the Crown Towers.
- The player should be careful when using the Barbarian Hut as it may render them defenseless against an opponent's attack due to its high Elixir cost, so have some cheap troops just in case.
- The Barbarian Hut can spawn up to 8 Barbarians (value of 8 Elixir), creating a maximum profit of 2 Elixir.
- Due to the high cost of placing a Barbarian Hut down and the total time it takes for the hut to create its maximum profit of Elixir, it is highly advised to protect the Barbarian Hut so that potential and Elixir profit is maximized.
- With its difficulty to maximize efficiency, an opposing player can easily throw a high damage spell card to greatly reduce the efficiency and the amount of spawned Barbarians. A Rocket will completely destroy the Barbarian Hut, but will be unable to prevent the first wave and its death spawn.
- Barbarians cannot target flying troops, so the Barbarian Hut can be destroyed by Minions unhindered if placed incorrectly outside a Crown Tower's range.
- The Bowler is a great counter to the Barbarian Hut, due to it knocking back each wave of Barbarians and stopping while doing so, allowing it to move more slowly and stay on the map longer and defend more troops.
- Even though it spawns Barbarians very slowly, do not underestimate it; it can deal heavy damage to or even destroy a Crown Tower.
- Since the building spawns Barbarians in groups of 3, it is very easy for splash damage troops or buildings to wipe them out one after one. When using the Barbarian Hut, try to take out area damage cards as quickly as possible. Alternatively, use fast troops with high health (e.g., Dark Prince) to briefly soak up some damage.
- A Barbarian Hut can stop a lone Mega Knight for a +1 Elixir trade. The 1 Barbarian which spawn upon the building's destruction will survive but will not be very useful.
- In rare situations, a Balloon can snipe a Barbarian Hut placed in the center of the opponent's side. It will easily destroy the Barbarian Hut for a +1 Elixir trade, without it being distracted by the spawned Barbarians or vice versa. However, this should only be done if the player lacks better counters.
- The Miner can be a slightly effective counter to this card, as it gives an almost 3 Elixir trade advantage. However, the Miner will not completely destroy it, and it will be able to spawn 2 waves of Barbarians before it runs out of health. Due to this, it might just be a good idea to not play a Miner, as the Barbarian Hut will be able to still summon 6 Barbarians for a 4 Elixir trade disadvantage, and they will be grouped up, making them a more effective potential counterpush.
- The Goblin Barrel is ineffective against the Barbarian Hut as it may not do much damage, especially if a wave of Barbarians come out just in time.
- The Barbarian Hut is affected by Rage, technically allowing it to produce extra waves. However, its lifetime decays more quickly under a Rage spell's effect, and as a result, no extra wave will be produced with the help of Rage. However, it will result in the last wave spawning 3 Barbarians instead of 1. This is a 2 Elixir investment for an equivalent return value of 2 Elixir, and thus it can be worth using if the player wants to make use of the last wave of Barbarians in defense.
- In the Rage Challenge, all buildings' (including the Barbarian Hut's) lifetimes are unaffected, but in Barbarian Hut's case, the Troop producing speed is, allowing it to produce up to 3 waves of Barbarians instead of the usual 2.33 in the challenge.

Trivia[]
- The word “Barbarian” comes from “barbaros”, which is the Greek word for uncivilized. Dating back to the ancient Greek times, the Greeks referred to non-Greek people as barbarians because the language they spoke sounded to Greeks like gibberish represented by the sounds “bar…bar…;”.
- The Barbarian Hut is 1 of 6 cards associated with Barbarians, with the others being Elite Barbarians, Barbarian Launcher, Battle Ram, Barbarian Barrel, and of course, Barbarians.
- The Barbarian Hut closely resembles the Level 1 Barracks from Clash of Clans, only that it now has a blue roof; however, from the enemy's point of view, it is red. The Barbarian Hut also has a small hole in the roof that the Barracks does not have, a keg of Elixir, and is more reinforced. Level 1 Barracks also only allow the training of Barbarians.
- The Barbarian Hut, along with Elixir Collector and X-Bow, are the most expensive buildings, costing 6 Elixir.
- Among all buildings that can spawn troops, the Barbarian Hut has the lowest spawn speed of all buildings, with an spawn speed of 13.5 seconds.
- In the Norwegian, Finnish, and Vietnamese language settings of the game, the Barbarian Hut's name translates to "Barbarian Cabin", "Barbarian Lodge", and "Barbarian Tent" respectively.
- Though not the first cards to receive balance changes, the Barbarian Hut is one of the first Rare cards to ever receive balance changes since the February 2016 Update, the others are the Wizard, Bomb Tower, Inferno Tower, and Elixir Collector.
- The Golden Knight is unavailable in multiple special game modes. More specifically:
- The Barbarian Hut is 1 of 22 cards that has had its Elixir cost changed, the others being Bomber, Fire Spirit, Royal Recruits, Cannon, Mortar, Musketeer, Three Musketeers, Heal, Bomb Tower, Furnace, Elixir Collector, Skeleton Army, P.E.K.K.A., Wall Breakers, Electro Giant, Bowler, Goblin Barrel, Barbarian Barrel, Rage, Fisherman, and the Monk.

- It is unavailable in The Floor is Healing sub-mode of the Global Spell game mode, much like other building cards, as well as the Cannon Cart.
- Before the Barbarian Hut's card release, the Barbarian Hut's cost was increased to 7 Elixir (from 6 Elixir), its hitpoints were increased by 42%, its spawn time interval was increased to 14 seconds (from 11.85 seconds), the Barbarians' hitpoints were increased by 24%, and their damage was decreased by 12%.
